Flower Preservation
I reserve the right to refuse to preserve any flowers that I deem too damaged. Flowers that fall in this category may show signs of rot, bruising or tearing of petals, or extreme wilting. I am committed to preserving as many of your flowers as possible, but if I see that the entirety of the flowers given to me are unfit for preservation, I will issue a 75% refund.
It is likely that not every flower given to me for preservation will be used in your final artwork due to quality or space limitations. I will seek to incorporate each variety of flower that I receive, but I will not include a variety that did not preserve well to the detriment of the overall artwork. Flowers that are not used in the final design will not be returned to the customer.
Please note that colors and appearances of the original flowers are likely to shift during the preservation process. For example, reds and purples usually deepen, oranges and yellows often soften, and whites frequently yellow. As for appearance, any variety that holds an abundance of moisture such as succulents, berries, and ginger must be preserved in such a way that compromises their original structure. We cannot guarantee how a flower’s color and appearance will change during preservation as it varies by age, condition, and varieties of the flowers.
Artwork Design
By hiring me as your wedding floral preservation artist, you grant me the creative freedom to design an artwork for you that is visually appealing. I will include you in finalizing a design mockup, but it is my responsibility as the artist to produce artwork that is consistent with my preferred style.
Any changes to your order may be made prior to sealing the flowers on the backing. I may recommend changes to size, backing color, or frame type to better accentuate the beauty of your particular wedding florals.
Slight shifts in the placement of flowers may occur during the process of sealing the flowers on the backing, but we are committed to maintaining the integrity of the approved design.
Please note that it is both natural and inevitable that your flowers will fade over time as they are exposed to light and oxygen.
